About the state Keno licence
Keno licences have been issued to:
This is in line with sections 6A.3.8 and 6A.3.10 of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (the Act).
Each licence began on 15 April 2022 and operates for a 20-year period. On the 9 September 2025, Lottoland Australia Pty Ltd changed its corporate entity name to KenoGo Pty Ltd.

Directions for harm minimisation
On 13 April 2022, the then Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation issued a Ministerial direction for harm minimisation:
When providing Keno to people in Victoria, this applies to both:
- Victorian
- interstate Keno providers.

Standard for Keno systems in Victoria
From 2 June 2022, any changes to Keno systems have referred to the Keno Technical Standard:

- tested by an approved testing facility
