The VGCCC's Compliance Division works in partnership with the industry, Victoria Police, the Commission and other government agencies to build a culture of compliance in the gambling and liquor industries.

Compliance Inspectors may also undertake investigations and inspections in relation to community and charitable gaming such as bingo centre operators, raffles or fundraising events.
There are over 40 Compliance Inspectors who monitor licensed premises throughout Victoria 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Compliance Division's key function is to ensure all licensees supply gambling activities and liquor to the community responsibly and in accordance with their mandated accountabilities. This is achieved through widespread inspections across the state with an enforcement response that is professional, proportional, firm and fair.
Information on financial penalties and other sanctions is available on the Compliance and enforcement - liquor licences and Compliance and enforcement - Gambling licences pages.
