A renewable limited licence authorises the supply of liquor where the scale and scope of the supply is substantially restricted or limited.

You must provide a written submission describing the activities you wish to have licensed as part of your application. The submission must include an explanation of how the supply of liquor proposed in the application is limited in nature.
Persons seeking a licence for a single event, or for events on a specified number of dates, should consider applying for a Temporary limited licence.
Clubs seeking a renewable limited licence should consider a Renewable limited licence - club.
Businesses where the supply of liquor is only a small part of the products and services on offer can be exempt from the requirement to hold a liquor licence. This includes some bed and breakfasts, hairdressers, florists, gift-makers and butchers. For more information, see Minor business exemption.
No set trading hours apply. Applicants should specify the hours they desire in the application form, which will be assessed in context of the scale and scope of liquor supply.

Applicants are advised to lodge liquor licence applications at least eight weeks in advance. The time taken to process an application will vary depending on a range of factors including the complexity of the application and any objections which may be raised.
