From 1 July, venue operators will have access to, and will be required to use, the electronic CCR on the Intralot Gaming Services (IGS) BOS portal to lodge all poker machine winning payments made via cheque or electronic funds transfer. This new requirement is reflected in the AAVR and replaces the previous requirement relating to the maintenance of a large win register.
Information on how to use the CCR interface is available.
The introduction of the CCR will require venue operators to adopt a new process. We will support the transition for venue operators by taking an educative approach, rather than enforcing strict compliance with the new requirements from 1 July 2025.
During the initial implementation, we will monitor the CCR to identify venues who may not be complying with the new requirements in the AAVR. When identified, we will engage with these venues to assist with any issues and provide guidance to achieving compliance with the new requirements.
Before moving to enforce strict compliance, we will advise you of this transition and set clear expectations about adhering to the changes in the AAVR. Post this date, we may consider disciplinary action if venues don’t utilise the CCR and comply with the AAVR.
The new AAVR will be available on the VGCCC website from 1 July. If you have questions, please email gambling.audit@vgccc.vic.gov.au or call 1300 599 759.
