The VGCCC has released 3 new checklists to help venue staff and managers:
- understand their role and responsibilities
- comply with their legal and social obligations
- identify when to take action to address a potential breach.
The checklists are:
- Staff gaming venue checklist – for detailed reviews of gaming room compliance
- Short form gaming venue checklist – for regular gaming room compliance reviews
- Management gaming venue checklist – for management reviews of venue compliance.
The VGCCC recommends using the checklists in conjunction with the ‘Venue better practice checklists; exceed regulatory obligations and excel in harm minimisation’, which can be obtained from your Venue Support Worker.
Note, these checklists are not an exhaustive list of requirements. Some venues may have different or additional requirements.
