Check your liquor licence for restricted gaming on Christmas and New Year’s Day

Gaming venues must ensure they follow trading restrictions that may apply during the holiday period.

We recommend venue operators check their liquor licence for any trading restrictions that may apply on public holidays. Venues may be restricted from offering gaming on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Make sure you:

  • review your liquor licence for operating hours and restrictions
  • update any changes to your nominated gaming hours in the Intralot Gaming Service BOS portal.

The VGCCC will monitor gaming activities and take action if gaming takes place outside permitted hours.
