Associate individuals & nominees: applications and notifications

The VGCCC is reminding associated individuals & nominees of specific applications and notifications that they need to submit.

Returning associated individuals

If you have previously resigned as an associated individual and are now seeking to return into that role, you must reapply for approval as an associated individual, even if you have been previously assessed by the VGCCC.

Please submit applications to us via the VGCCC portal.

New nominees

A new nominee should apply within 60 days of the previous nominee ceasing the role. The board assumes responsibility for the venue operator licence in the interim.

Venue operator licence renewals

A venue operator licence is valid for 10 years from the date of approval, and you can find your licence expiry date on your:

  • Venue operator’s licence
  • notice of approved venue.

Renewals(opens in a new window) can be made 9 months before expiry, and it’s recommended to apply for renewal no later than 3 months before the licence expiry date. Please submit your renewal application via the VGCCC portal.

Notification of changes

Venues need to notify the VGCCC of any changes to an associated individual’s and nominee’s circumstances or role within 14 days, including the following relevant details:

  • name
  • address
  • any new or pending finalised offences, findings of guilt, or litigation proceedings
  • bankruptcy or any arrangement with creditors
  • change in role, e.g. committee member to treasurer
  • ceasing to be in a role.

Reminder: submission of AGM minutes

Venues need to provide a copy of annual general meeting (AGM) minutes every year, even if there is no change to the management committee. Please submit notifications to us at contact@vgccc.vic.gov.au(opens in a new window).
