In a bid to reduce the burden on the gambling industry and venue operators, we are currently reviewing the hard meter requirements set out in the Accounting and Auditing Venue Requirements (AAVR).
Venue operators are invited to provide feedback on the possible impact of removing the current requirement to record and reconcile hard meters on gaming machines from the AAVR.
To provide feedback on the proposed changes, please email Jason Cremona in the Licensing Division by Monday 23 December.
