Here’s how to pay your gaming machine entitlements from 16 August

If you operate a venue with one or more gaming machine entitlements, you need to pay instalments every three months, starting on 30 November 2022.

That’s unless you have taken up the Victorian Government’s offer to defer the instalment payments due on 30 November 2022 and 28 February 2023 until 31 May 2023. If not, read on.

To find out how much your quarterly instalment is, please:

  1. log in to our Online Gambling Services Portal
  2. click on the tab labelled ‘Financials’.

If you don’t pay the full amount by 16 August 2022, interest on the outstanding amount will start accruing on that date.

Interest will be calculated quarterly, with the first calculation made on 30 November 2022. Payment of the interest amount is required by next instalment date.

Once the interest is calculated, you will be able to see the amount under the ‘Financials’ tab in the Online Gambling Services Portal.

What happens if you don’t pay

If you do not make the payment, penalty interest will be calculated on the overdue amount. Any penalty interest you incur will be due on the next instalment due date.

Late or non-payments also trigger forfeiture provisions.

Next steps

We will issue payment reminders about one month before each due date but you may pay earlier than that date.

Additional payments can be made at any time and they will be applied against the next instalment due.
