Venue operators, nominees and gaming industry employees are required, under the Gambling Regulation Act 2003, to notify the VGCCC of any of the changes outlined below. Non-compliance may result in a fine or other disciplinary action.
Gaming industry employee (GIE) licence holders must notify the VGCCC in writing(opens in a new window) within 14 days of:
- any change to your name or address
- any finding of guilt for an offence under statute or common law
- the commencement of any bankruptcy proceedings
- outcomes of any litigation against you.

Nominees of gaming venues must notify the VGCCC in writing(opens in a new window) within 14 days if they resign, are dismissed, or cease to manage or control an approved venue. The venue operator must then nominate a new person as the licensee and apply for approval(opens in a new window) within 60 days.
Venue operators must notify the VGCCC in writing(opens in a new window) within 7 days of a person becoming an associate of their venue. Any other changes to associates, such as resignations or dismissals, must be notified within 14 days.
If changes are part of an annual general meeting, notifications can be made via the Update of associated individuals following an annual general meeting(opens in a new window) form.
